Creating a first class welcome to Bristol around Temple Meads station has been a long held aspiration. Come to an exhibition at Engine Shed showing proposals for improving this important gateway which in time, as development takes place, will become an integrated travel hub for Bristol. The plans include a more direct road layout creating more space for pedestrians and cyclists as well as new buildings and a new public square.
The exhibition will open to the public on Tuesday 13 January and will be open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm until Friday 30 January, although the consultation will be open until 18 February 2015.
There will be two staffed events at the exhibition in The Engine Shed, where members of the project team will be on hand to discuss the proposals:
