Local Sustainable Transport Fund
email from City Transport group
As you may be aware, the Government has invited Local Authorities to bid for transport funding under the newly created Local Sustainable Transport Fund. Bristol City Council, together with its partner authorities in the West of England are preparing a joint bid to submit to Government to support the delivery of measures that promote more sustainable transport, reduce carbon and improve the environment.
As part of preparing the bid we are holding a series of “drop in” sessions during April in:-
Planning Reception, Ground Floor, Brunel House, St Georges Road, Bristol, BS1 5UY.
The sessions are aimed at sharing information and helping to shape the bid for Local Sustainable Transport Fund resources. Bristol City Council officers will be present at the drop in sessions in Brunel House on Thursday lunchtimes on:
Thursday 7 April 12pm-1pm
Thursday 14 April 12pm-1pm
Thursday 21 April 12pm-1pm
Thursday 28 April 12pm-1pm
If you would like to drop in to one of these sessions at Brunel House we would be very glad to meet you.
If you have any particular questions, or would like more information on, the Local Sustainable Transport Fund please do not hesitate to contact me.

Agenda items please?
The bi monthly meeting attendance was very low this time. We are keen to find out why.
Could you please let me know whether there is anything we can do to make these meetings more relevant for you and your group. If there is a drop off in interest we may review how often the meetings should be held and whether the next scheduled meeting should go ahead. Please respond to let me know what course of action to take |
