NPN Quarterly meeting postponed to
Tuesday Nov 15.

We have decided to set back the date of the quarterly meeting so that all of the documentation for the next consultation stage of the Joint Spatial Plan is ready to be shared.

We are therefore cancelling the October 11th meeting and rearranging it for November 15th
On the agenda will be

  • JSP consultation
  • Hengrove and Whitchurch Neighbourhood Development Plan

The meeting will be in City Hall, Writing room, First floor, at 5.30 pm to 7 pm.


Bristol Heritage Forum

Theme: The Future and Health of Bristol’s Historic Places
Examing the future resilience of Bristol’s historic estates

The Bristol Heritage Forum conference is on October 27th.
The day will comprise daytime workshops and visits, and an evening talk with guest speakers Dr Jonathon Foyle, National heritage expert and broadcaster and Mr Charles O’Brien, Commissioner, Historic England.
This is the first conference and the first in a series of Heritage events.

This event will be of interest to all those interested in protecting Conservation Areas, safeguarding historic buildings and structures, and generally wishing to get involved in conservation in their neighbourhoods.

Tickets cost £8 evening and £12 day and evening (to include lunch and transport) and can be booked through Eventbrite here

BWA event –
Walkable Neighbourhoods –
Saturday 15th October 2016

Bristol Walking Alliance is holding a “Walkable Neighbourhoods” event on the morning of Saturday 15th October 2016, part of Healthy City Week.
This is a chance for Neighbourhood Partnership groups and local community groups to consider ways to support and improve the pedestrian environment in Bristol.
Guest speakers will share updates on walking projects that are taking place across the city and we will explore ways to make your neighbourhood more suited to pedestrians.
The event is FREE but booking is required through Eventbrite.
