Quarterly meeting notes
The presentations from the last NPN meeting have been uploaded to the NPN website here
Reminder:
the next meeting is on Tuesday 10 October 2017 at 5.30 – 7.00 pm. The main topic will be the Local Plan review and it was proposed that this session be a workshop session for NPN groups.
Please let me have any other agenda suggestions/ queries.

Pre-application process reminder:
this is not a public process

Just a reminder:
Pre-app information may be sensitive, so could you remember that plans etc are not to be distributed widely eg put on social media/ publicly accessible websites/ get into the press.
If something confidential gets into the public domain before a developer has made it publicly available, the developers may press BCC not to share this information at the pre-app stage any more, so we need to ensure that people who are sent information at this stage understand the implications.
For instance, sometimes developers submit pre-app enquiries to work out how much they can pay for a site; if the details become public other developers could use the information.
FYI Bristol are currently the only Local Planning Authority who share pre-application information with members of NPN planning groups, so we need to ensure that there is no reason to stop doing so!
