THE PRE APPLICATION PROCESS.
The main subject on the agenda is an update on the pre application system.
A number of changes have been made in the way in which NPN and other consultees are being informed about and involved in pre application cases and groups may not be fully aware of all the recent processes.
We will therefore be looking at what the current process is and discussing how groups can get the best out of the pre application conversations with case officers and developers and asking for feedback from groups on their experiences and opinions, which will then be fed into the current review of the Statement of Community Involvement.
All NPN member groups are encouraged to attend this meeting, whether they are new to the system or have already been involved in pre application responses, to hear about the new opportunities to ensure that their communities’ voices can be heard about development in their area.
