NPN Administrator's Diary
The Neighbourhood Planning Network (NPN) belongs to the residents planning groups in all neighbourhoods. However, basic administrative tasks are necessary to enable the NPN to function.
These include arranging meetings, email news, website editing and agreeing on behalf of residents NPN members more effective Community Involvement processes with Bristol City Council and other agencies.
Planning policy remains a matter for residents planning group members themselves, either as separate groups or jointly.
All administrators meet together every 4 to 6 weeks to identify priorities.
Administrators have regular monthly meetings with Development Management planning coordinators to monitor the pre application processes.
Administrators also monitor planning applications to assess the quality of Community Involvement and meet to plan responses to Community Involvement Statements.
Administrators meet annually with BCC planning officers to review the Statement of Community Involvement.
Additional administrators would be very welcome; if you would like to find out more about what this might involve please contact one of the administrators Alison Bromilow, David Farnsworth, Andy King, Steve Pearce via networkadministrator@bristolnpn.net
