NPN Meetings
For dates see the NPN calendar.
- Regular bi monthly meetings with the Planning Officers are open to all NPN members.
The agenda items are agreed between the Head of Planning and the NPN Administrators.
NPN members are encouraged to suggest agenda items to the Administrators.
As the room capacity is limited, NPN members are asked to confirm whether they want to attend the meeting so alternative arrangements can be made if necessary.
In some cases, a NPN group may be asked to limit the number of representatives attending the meeting on behalf of that group.
- NPN Administrators have regular monthly meetings with planning officers
to discuss processes for Pre Application Community Involvement (Pre App CI).
- NPN Administrators also meet with Officers and Councillors to improve community involvement in all areas of planning including transport when necessary.
Other NPN members may also be involved in these meetings.
Other Meetings
NPN Administrators will circulate details of other meetings that may be of interest to NPN members including:
- Training events and lectures, consultation events organised by
eg Bristol City Council, West of England Partnership etc or
private developers which have a planning significance.
Please Note - NPN members are encouraged to keep the NPN administrators informed of meetings that they are aware of or have organised.
- NPN administrators will try to ensure that all groups that may be affected by an issue or a development have the same opportunity for community involvement.
