As well as organising talks and working with the council on their tree policy, they respond to planning applications which involve works to trees or have the opportunity to plant new trees (e.g. in car parks / streets / as s106 developer contributions). 

You are invited to nominate a member of your group to be the contact for the Tree Forum and to receive meeting notifications and to coordinate responses to planning applications.
