Plus hear from Jeff Bishop of the Localism Network (a network of professionals who give advice on all aspects of Localism) about this and other options people have to help guide and shape development in their area eg through Character Assessments. Bristol City Council is seeking to raise the quality of urban design and place-making in the city through the City Design Initiative. As part of the initiative, we would like to invite you or your organisation to become a member of Design Bristol: www.designbristol.ning.com. Design Bristol is an online forum, developed by the Council's City Design Group, for anyone involved or interested about the future design of the city's buildings, streets, spaces and neighbourhoods.
