Henbury & Brentry Community Council

The Community Council exists to link individual members of the community, voluntary organisations and local authority departments in a common effort to improve leisure, educational and social welfare opportunities for everyone in Brentry and Henbury. It is also increasingly concerned with the physical environment and the future of our green spaces.

Membership is open to any interested member of the community and is currently free.

General meetings are held in Brentry Methodist Church every quarter.

Immediate environmental matters are dealt with by a sub group, SEARCH group, which meets monthly.

Longer term planning aspects are the remit of the small Futures Group.

A biennial community conference is held and the next one will be on 28th June '08 and the main focus is likely to be the next 20 years in Henbury.
