Quarterly meeting date change:
please note that the meeting scheduled for October 16th has been postponed.
The meeting will now be on November 13th.

It will be held in Brunel House.
The main item on the agenda will be an
update on the Neighbourhood Development Plans in Bristol.

Numbers are limited by the room size so please let me know if you would like to come to this meeting on November 13th; and forward this to other members of your group.

If there are more people than the room will accommodate, we may have to think again, so please do respond as soon as possible.

Recent Coalition Government Consultation on Planning reforms:

Although national government says that it supports local empowerment, it is removing many of the opportunities to shape development locally. The continued expansion of permitted development, one of the reforms included in the latest consultation, will mean that residents and the Local Planning Authority have little say in an increasing amount of future development.

Did any of the NPN groups/ members respond to the consultation?
Do the NPN members think that we should be doing so or it is a waste of time, do you think?
